Abbreviations |
| The first group of letters refers to the fixture
group. Any capitalized letter refers to a new word and lower
case letters refer to the additional identifying letter. Example Sp
= Spot; Q2 = Q-Spot 250. |
Commonly used abbreviations
All = Every fixture
Mov = Movers
LED = All LEDs
Sp = All Moving Yoke Spot Fixtures
Ws = All Moving Yoke Wash Fixtures
Par = All Par Cans
Sc = All Scanners
Ev = All Even Numbered Fixtures
Od = All Odd Numbered Fixtures
HS = Hard Spot- All Gobo fixtures |
C1 = Colorado 1
OR = Opti RGB
C14 = Colorcast 14
Q3 = Q-Spot 300
PS = Proton Star
Wiz = Wizard
* = special mark put at the beginning of a name intended
to group items together (Typically Creation Shows)
+ = special mark put at the beginning of Shows |

new word and lower case letters refer to the second letter. Example
MSt = Movement built on stills; C = Color. |
Commonly used abbreviations
C = Color
CF[#] = Color with a Fade time of [#] seconds (Ex. CF3)
CWalk[#] = Alternating between 3 or more adjacent colors on Wheel
CSwitch[#] = Alternating between 2 adjacent colors on Wheel
CFlux[#] = Randomly increases or decreases in a color saturation
CSweep[#] = Color Chase; # at a time
G = Gobo
GBounce = Gobo Spin Spinning in Each Direction
S = Strobe
SO = Stobe and Off
SSweep[#] = Strobing Chase; # at a time

M = Movement Macro
M_St = Movement Macro with a starting position
I = Intensity
IFlux[#] = Randomly increases or decreases in intensity
Flux[#] = Randomly increases or decreases in effect plus speed
Flip[#] = Solid Color on one side then other (# = Fade Time)
Flick[#] = Fixtures randomly flash a stated color (# = Scene Time)
F[#] = Fade Time (Only with Par Cans)
F = Focus
G3 = Prismed Gobo
